These Japanese-style bracelets with moving parts are a leather engineering project, the result of many months of research and testing in iado, kenjutsu and kabuken training. The result is a work of art as if it had just been taken from the Kyoto Museum of Ancient Art.

I have been practicing Japanese swordsmanship for years, and I have never found anything even remotely similar to these gauntlets in the whole world. Hence the need to design and build my own protections from scratch taking advantage of my skills in leather work and my experience in these martial arts.

The result is a totally exclusive gauntlets that, thanks to the proportions of the five main body sizes, guarantees complete freedom of movement at the wrist, as well as providing a sensitive degree of impact protection. From now on, "armor" and "comfort" can finally appear together in the same sentence.

These bracelets are the dream of every samurai.

* SPECIFICATIONS *

MATERIALS: five bodies of 3mm vegetable tanned leather in outer layer; plus and additional internal layer of 1.5mm Split leather (to soften skin contact); 1.5 mm leather straps, and aged-looking metal buckles and pins;

COLOR: white with airbrushed golden reflections. Consequently, white color acquires an ivory hue in some parts. Also, keep in mind that the colors perceived in the photographs can vary depending on the particular color settings -and the type- of your screen (for instance, mobiles tend to oversaturate all images);

FINISHING: stamping of sea motifs in a japanese fashion (fishes and waves);

Global measures: 16.5 inches (42cm) long; 10.6 inches (27cm) of circumference;

SIZING: This product is recomended for people with a WRIST circumference of 7 inches (18cm) or more; and a FOREARM circumference greater of 11 inches (28cm) too. This gauntlets will fit MOST.
