These Japanese-style bracelets with moving parts are a leather engineering project, the result of many months of research and testing in iado, kenjutsu and kabuken training.

I have been practicing Japanese swordmanship for years, and I have never found anything even remotely similar to these gauntlets in the whole world. Hence the need to design and build my own protections from scratch taking advantage of my skills in working with leather and my experience in these martial arts.

The result is a totally exclusive armband that, due to the proportions of the measurements of its five main bodies, guarantees complete freedom of movement on the wrist; as well as providing a sensitive degree of protection against impacts. From your hand, “comfort” and “armor” can finally appear together in the same sentence.

These armbands are the dream of every modern samurai.

* SPECIFICATIONS *

MATERIALS: five bodies of 3mm vegetable tanned leather in outer layer; plus and additional internal layer of 1.5mm Split leather (to soften skin contact); 1.5 mm leather straps, and aged-looking metal buckles and pins;

COLOR: natural leather color with its natural shadows and “scars”. The underlayer comes in mustard color.

That said, keep in mind that the colors perceived in the photographs can vary depending on the particular color settings -and the type- of your screen (for instance, mobiles tend to oversaturate all images).

FINISHING: bright lacquering protective layer

GLOBAL MEASURES: 16.5 inches (42cm) long; 8.6 inches (22cm) of circumference;

SIZING: This product is recomended for people with a wrist circumference of 6.2 inches (16cm) or more; and a foream circumference greater of 9.8 inches (27cm). This gauntlets will fit MOST.
