Forearm and hand protector (“kotes”) or gauntlets. Fully functional and elegant, for iaido, kenjutsu, LARP, cosplay,… Totally handmade, built upon five multilayered replaceable bodies of prime quality leather.

This functional bracers are built in the old samurai fashion. A leather engineering project in itself due to it’s mobile parts, after many months of research and testing in my iaido, kenjutsu and kabuken trainings and classes.

My samurai style bracers are a truly unique product, in their style and in their class. Hence you are not going to find, anywhere, gauntlets like these.

* SPECIFICATIONS *

MATERIALS: five bodies of 3mm vegetable tanned leather in outer layer; plus and additional internal layer of 1.5mm Split leather (to soften skin contact); 1.5 mm leather straps, and aged-looking metal buckles and pins;

COLOR : BLACK outer leather color. The underlayer comes in BLACK color too.

Anyway, keep in mind that the colors perceived in the photographs can vary depending on the particular color settings -and the type- of your screen (for instance, mobiles tend to oversaturate all images);

FINISHING: Japanese-inspired marine stamped motifs pattern (waves), plus bright lacquering protective layer.

Global measures: 16.5 inches (42cm) long; 8.6 inches (22cm) of circumference;

* SIZING *

This product is recomended for people with a WRIST circumference of 7 inches (17cm) or more; and a FOREARM circumference greater of 10.6 inches (27cm). This gauntlets will fit MOST.
